ANNUAL SEMINAR

Organised each September on the occasion of the the Society of Legal Scholars Annual Conference. The 2026 Annual Seminar focused on “Intellectual Property Law Across Borders: Comparative Perspectives”.

PG WORKSHOP

This assembly supports doctoral students and early-career researchers, rotating across different UK law schools each year. The 2026 PGR Workshop was hosted by the University of Sussex in Brighton, featuring a keynote lecture on the comparative regulation of assisted dying.

AIDC/IACL CONGRESS

BACL facilitates participation in the global gatherings managed by the International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL) every four years. The 22nd General Congress takes place in Berlin from 28 September to 2 October 2026, hosted by Humboldt University.
